Crack me up!

Those kids (and husband) crack me up!  Morgan saw this box of tampons as I am unpacking from the grocery store and she said SO excited, "Wow, Mommy did you buy a new DS!?"  I laughingly said no and that it was just a picture of a purse.  She just as excitedly said, "Cool Mommy, did you buy a new purse!?"  I laughed so hard - but in her defense it does look like a DS game unit!

So Scout just got neutered yesterday - poor thing.  When he got home he was in a cone and so disoriented and weak.  I took the cone off (not supposed to), and hope I don't have to put it back on.  He doesn't seem to be licking it too much (fingers crossed).  Curtis had to bring him in - poor thing.  Enough said!?  He felt so bad, that he needed some reassurance and called a few of his buddies to make sure that they had their dogs neutered as well.  They had - but I think he still feels like he is depriving Scout of some pride.

Background:  I have twin girls in my class who are on a gluten free, dairy free diet.  For the holiday's I was making the kids treats, and wanted to make these girls something special too, so I had talked a lot about it with my kids so they understood.  Back to the story:  Scout is definitely motivated by food and he couldn't eat all day yesterday after the surgery.  He was whining a lot and I couldn't tell if he was in pain - or was just so hungry!  I think both!  This morning I gave him 1/3 can of soft food and explained that he was on a special diet today.  Schuyler so inquisitive and serious said "you mean like the girls in your class?"  So precious an outlook!

So if it wasn't funny enough that Graydon sang Ozzy Osbourne's Iron Man song in front of a quiet packed church (a few posts ago).......  My friend said that even funnier is that they were zoomed in on their son who was sitting behind Graydon and have the whole thing on video....  To top it off, Graydon then picked a big ol' booger and turned around and wiped it on their son!  They said they were just dying laughing and asked if they could send it in to America's Funniest Home Videos!

When we pass a McDonalds Graydon says, "look there is Old MacDonald's!"  And he sings the song, "Old McFarmee had a farm, e-i-e-i-o."  So darn cute!
