I had opened my other handmade gifts throughout the week, as the girls had no patience. Schuyler made book and cards all week, and the girls both made things at their schools. This picture displays them all (including more of the butterfly)!

Mother's Day
I woke up to a wonderful breakfast and beautiful flowers that the kids picked that morning. The flowers included a injured butterfly that sat on the flowers for hours just opening and closing its wings - it was really neat!

After the yummy breakfast we went to the beach where we spent about eight hours with ten (or so) other families for a sun filled, fun filled day. I then invited everyone over to our house for pizza (I don't know what I was thinking - other than one or two many beers and to much sun)! It was a really fun time had by all! Believe it or not, no one had a camera, so I included a picture of our last beach outing. For those of you that don't know, our beach is just down the street and has pristine sand and warm water! Since the lake is currently so low, not many people can get to the beach, so it is very unpopulated.

Love the beach that comes and goes with the level of the water. Pretty Cool!! Love you, Mom and Ron
