Knowing Grandma Place was going to be in town to watch the kids, we planned months in advance to go to Cypress Valley Canopy Tours with our friends Jeff and Kim. For a trip scheduled so far in advance we couldn’t have picked a better day - the weather was perfect. We didn’t really know what we were in store for, but the day was well above all of our expectations! Our first tour of zipping through the trees on our hour long adventure was so fun that we lucked out into going on the two hour advanced tour. The advanced tour zipped us along until we came to a ropes course 60 feet high in the trees. The ropes course was a very challenging endeavor both mentally and physically and left us feeling exhilarated, accomplished, sore and exhausted! It also left me feeling jealous of my cousin Kenda who is an outdoor adventure instructor!
