The meaning of Christmas

Tonight we all wrote down on strips of red and green paper what Christmas means to us and created a paper chain. Here are all the things we wrote:

Chrisms Tree, smow (Morgan), making dreams come true, Jesus, Nativity, wisemen, angels, Bethelhem, Chrisms is giving, warm holiday cheer, fires, hot chocolate, time with friends and family, games, caroling, family, games with the kids, playing in the snow and muth mor, giving, nex to the fire, magic in the kids eyes, putting up the Christmas tree, Jesas, snowmen, mastree (Morgan), Happy Birthday Jesus, having time with your family, In the town of David a Savior has been born!

Morgan really impressed me with her writing skills, and Graydon had good input too!

We then (per Schuyler's request) had a drawing contest. The theme was anything to do with Christmas. Schuyler insisted that we couldn't vote for ourselves, and somehow Morgan and Schuyler ended up in a tie. I think Curtis was impressed with my skills (lol), and he was very subpar with just his star.

So glad to see you posting again. Love to read about the family and it keeps us connected from so far away.
