We then had a nice breakfast and headed to Inks Lake State Park. We hiked up in a canyon with pools of water streaming down and just hung out and played in the water. Morgan must have collected about fifty rolly-pollies on the trail (which she later gave to Kristall for Mother’s Day - lol), and the girls picked wildflowers along the way. It was pretty rough terrain for our little crew, but they all loved scrambling on the rocks and all insisted on doing it themselves. We let Graydon go naked in the water, so later if you asked him what he did he said, “we goed hiking naked in the water!”
This was all topped off with appetizers, drinks and dessert at Rivercity Grill overlooking Lake Marble Falls. As she unwrapped her silverware from her napkin, a perplexed Morgan said, “Why are there two forks in here? So you can eat faster?”
What a perfect Day! P.S. Morgan also cleaned the girls room all by herself as a present - what a wonderful one!!
