Silly and Fun times!

I thought I would post some of my recent favorite video clips! This is the girls on Christmas Eve eve doing a Santa dance (I think Schuyler made up the song she is singing)! The performance is not Schuyler's normal behavior, and as you can see, Morgan loves to shake her bootie! They were both having a blast, and the audience couldn't get enough (I have about ten other video's just like it)!

I mentioned in a previous post that Graydon loves to jump, but here he is in action! Today we were playing a new Cranium game the girls got (thanks J's), it is a little like twister (but not really), there are times where you have to put a knee on one spot, a hand on another, and a nose on a third. Graydon saw us doing this, and he would just lie down in mimic! He is such a Monkey-see-Monkey-do! Sometimes if I tell the girls to do a task and they are not listening, I then add "see if you can do it jumping, or walking backwards!" This always works, and Graydon loves to see and follow them! I think he is probably a pretty good jumper for his age though!

I was a little concerned having no school for two weeks, and having all three kids home. I figured Schuyler and Morgan would be fighting all the time and it would be miserable, but they have actually been getting along really well. Although, if Schuyler is not playing on the computer, drawing, or watching TV she is bored and tells me so about 15 times (she is like a broken record), and is not content with the 10 ideas I give her to cure boredom (I think I remember this scenario from when I was a kid)! So this is a video of the kids having a great time together.

The other day we went on a hike using our new Kelty child pack! Since our old pack had one broken piece, Kelty sent us a brand new pack! Thanks to Mom this was free. I tried to ship it and it was going to be around $80, so she just took it back on the plane with her one trip, since Kelty is in Boulder! Anyway, it was a score (and superb customer care), and a fun hike! We used the new walkie-talkies that Schuyler got (thanks Mom) and had a great time with them! Graydon (and I) came home for his nap and Curtis took the girls with his friend Charlie to his family ranch to try out Aiden's new four wheeler! Looks like a blast! Meanwhile, Graydon and I just hung out, we went down to The Pier (a local floating restaurant) and had a snack. It was so nice just to be with him on his best behavior, and I keep looking at him like he was the only thing in the room. He had me completely captivated and memorized with his charm and love!
