Our neighbor Carole had to put her sweet little dog Yannie to sleep this morning after some constant hip pain, and a crumbled vertebrae during the night. I think the highlight of his every day was the short walk past the front of the Burke house where he hoped to see Hershey and the kids. We also found out tonight that our very good friend Charlie lost his Grandfather today after several days of a painful hospital stay due to a recent fall. We are thankful that he was surrounded by his loved ones and lived a long full life. I told the girls about Yannie and Charlie's Grandfather and said that they were no longer in pain and went to live in Heaven with God. Morgan proceeded to say, "I saw God not at chool today. God is with us where ever we go..... Hi God (waving to the empty chair next to her). He lives in the ky, and he lives on the moon too, and there seem to be no moon now. God is a pecial God." I hope that brings a smile to your face Carole. We all loved Yannie and will miss him!
