We haven't quite mastered going sailing with three kids - not even close! Curtis frequently requests the kids to go sailing with him, and
disappointed when they don't want to. When they/we have gone in the past, Morgan has gotten sick, Schuyler usually ends up having a good time, and it takes one person to make sure
Graydon does not crawl off the side. I never want to go because of those things, and because I know Curtis gets stressed with the
responsibility of having his most precious cargo on board. To me it is more the logistics of going, and it never sounds like fun - of course I always end up having a great time!
Tonight I went with it - even when I said, "do you want Hershey to come" and Curtis replied, "sure, he will be fine." We only went out for about an hour and have nothing major to report, and other than the added stress of Hershey it was a fairly successful trip.

I asked Curtis if he was good for another year, and he said he needed more practice so he wouldn't be so stressed. We'll see........
He is still holding out for
Graydon to be his sailor - which is looking quite promising because
Graydon loves to go to the boat. He gets very upset when we drive through the parking lot on the golf cart, but don't stop.
