I have determined that reasoning with a seven year old is much more of a challenge than reasoning with a two year old. I will take a "I don't want to get into my car seat" protest over the sassy negativity coming from Schuyler. We didn't have a vacation during Spring Break, but we were busy. Every day we went somewhere, and everyday I was confronted with a protest, and every day she ended up having fun. At the end of the week I asked if there was anything else she wanted to do on her Spring Break - expecting her to say go to a movie. She responded "well, we did everything except for stay inside....." Staying inside all day is what she wanted to do everyday - that didn't happen. Here is a quick breakdown:
FRIDAY: Olivia over for a playdate, Morgan's Chuck-e-cheese Bday party
SATURDAY: Nonna was here, Soccer game, picnic outing and exotic zoo
SUNDAY: Nonna was here for sailing and smoking meat on the smoker for the first time
MONDAY: Nonna left. We went to the Zilker Park train and dinosaur digging park, Cassie slept over
TUESDAY: Pool, Chuck-e-cheese (yes again), dinner at B&Ks
WEDNESDAY: Cody Park playgroup, Cali/Lili's house, brought Ragsdales dinner and green beer
THURSDAY: Playdate at the Nicholes' house, played at a campground, nap, then back to the campground for dinner/smores
FRIDAY: Headed to Waco for Sloan's bday sleepover
