What an amazing little family we have. We feel so blessed everyday to have these unique, wonderful, headstrong little children running around our house. "Can you believe that they are ours" we say. When people tell you "they grow up so quick" they aren't kidding.
Schuyler is five and is such a compassionate, focused, artistic individual. She will sit at the table and draw for hours and is very task-oriented and dedicated to what ever she sets out to accomplish. She started Kindergarten and is really excelling from what I can tell. I remember being annoyed when my Mom would ask so many questions about my day, and I know she was less than thrilled with the yes and no answers she got in return. A taste of my own medicine.... I have to ask Schuyler so many questions about her days at school to know anything that goes on! This picture is of her first day at school.
Morgan is three and is our optimistic, ornery, Jekyll Hyde, ham. She attends school two days a week and when she is not there she likes to annoy her siblings and lately loves to ride her bike. She is at the sweetest age where everything she says is cute. She is so cute in fact it is hard not to squish her all the time. I always tell her that I am going to squish her so I can fit her in my pocket, carry her around all the time, and take her out and kiss her whenever I want. Lately she has been telling me that she is to big to fit into my pocket.
Graydon is just such a blessing (as they all are). People always ask if it is different having a boy. Up until now I always said that he has been no different than the girls and he was just a baby. Recently however, I don't know if it is the third time around, or maybe these boy tendencies you hear so much about are coming out. If I am not careful he will be on top of the table, on top of the bunk beds, or in the garage on the golf cart. He is really busy getting into everything and I think his favorite past-time is playing with the dog bowls, toilet paper, or worse yet - the toilet. But at other times, if I am sitting on the ground he will just walk up and plop right in my lap and just want to be held (even if it only lasts 10 seconds). Lately he really enjoys reading books and will bring them for you to read! I kid and ask if 15 months is to early to start the terrible two's, because there are times when he gets so frustrated he will throw himself on the ground and cry.
Curtis continues to work at Dell and I am so proud of his work ethic and how well he is doing. He continues to love to sail any chance he gets (although he would say it is few & far between). After being laid off from EDS after 15 years I am just happy being a "Domestic Engineer" juggling the three ring circus, maintaining the house, and making sure everyone is happy, fed and clothed. Somewhere in there I have managed to fit in a Women's soccer league one night a week. Our life in a nutshell as we know it is chaotic, challenging, and perfect and we love every second!

Heather,
I loved being able to read about your stories, keep writing! I can't belive Schuyler lost her tooth, we cannot tell Sloan, it might send her over the deep end. She is convinced she will never loose one, a few friends in her class lost teeth recently. I had to inform her that not everyone looses their teeth in Kindergarden, in the first week much less...oh the heartache. Love you and your sweet family!
