Despite it being the coldest day of the year and both of us having colds, we had a great time! Morgan did the normal Pumpkin Patch activities like a pumpkin race, painting a pumpkin, corn maze, hay ride, scarecrow stuffing and just having fun with her best friends Aiden, Nevaeh, Beck, Jake, and others! Curtis and Graydon stayed home and did boy things - like put our new grill together. Our other grill caught on fire at our last party, so we were excited to have a grilled dinner! The BIGGEST Burke news of the day....... drum roll..........
Graydon had his first real haircut tonight!! The first two snips had us a little nervous, he was on his way to having his first bowl cut (and I think Curtis even said, "should we put some tape across his forehead?"), but Mommy came to the rescue and it turned out better than we both imagined. Curtis kept him entertained with sweet tarts and a fruit roll up while I cut! I have been apprehensive about cutting it, but he just looks like such a little man!
