So Graydon ended up getting pink eye, all three kids have been sick, and Schuyler got her cavity filled. I took Graydon to the doctor and got medicine - I was hoping it would be a good experience for the girls. That trip went fine.
Schuyler, however, cried uncontrollably last night before her filling, and was very apprehensive when I was taking her out of her school (hiding behind the trash can). She sobbed at the dentist office, but calmed down fairly quick and made it through the filing PAIN FREE! Great job Dr. Vasut! She didn't see the huge needle I saw go into her gum. She might not have cried as much at this visit because we told her if she was a brave, cooperative girl she could pick out a toy. Hm, get a cavity, get a toy??? Well, it wasn't a bribe to calm her down, it was more of a reward for good behavior (presented after she calmed down). Either way, it is something we rarely do, and the girl probably hasn't got a toy (from us) since her birthday. She picked out a small fairy Barbie that has interchangeable heads/bodies/legs/wings. Since when do the heads just pop off of toys on purpose?
On Saturday Schuyler had her first sleep over at Cali's 6th birthday. Meanwhile I was at a Business Expo for 13 hours (with my own Cyberwize booth) and Curtis had a 'day in my shoes' with ALL three kids ALL day!
Morgan tonight at dinner pointed to the pepper and said "can I have some?" I said "I don't think you like pepper, it is to spicy." She said, "it not to picy, I like pepperoni!" I am not sure she knew the difference, but really made my heart warm.
Graydon couldn't be keeping me any busier by getting into ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, and keeps saying "gah-ka" meaning he wants to go for a golf cart ride. I had a rough day at my Domestic Engineering job yesterday, but enjoyed being a Mommy much better today!
