I haven't had time to sit down and recap our wonderful holiday weekend, so thought I would post some comments and such that I have been storing:
We often use the word "pill" when referring to a pore attitude. The other day, when their was no in particular behavior going on, Morgan said, "Mom, you are being a pill." I said, "I am?" She said, "yeah, a cata-PILL-er". Witty, eh?
The other day I was talking about my pea coat because I couldn't find it. Morgan said, "Mom, you just said pee, you are not supposed to say that word unless you are in the bathroom."
I was telling Schuyler that she should get dressed for the day and one of the girls asked why. I said because you never know what the day will bring. Morgan said, "I hope it brings candy," with this really mischievous look on her face and raised eyebrows.
Morgan said, "Mom, when I waked up I saw the clock in my room, and it said 1, 2, 14, 18." Curtis said, "that means it's time to get up?" Morgan replied, "No, that means it is program time!"
In the morning Morgan will say, "your bref pells tinky!"
Graydon always claps after we pray before each meal. And he loves to jump!
Schuyler REALLY wanted to purchase books from this book fair they were having at school (I think they brainwash the kids into buying them). We went through her piggy bank and got enough change for one book, and then we pitched in for a second. After looking at it again, the book she wanted was a dollar more than I had thought or counted change for. Morgan said, "Sissy can have a dollar from my piggy bank!" How generous Morgan!
Hershey was sick for a couple of days and after seeing him get sick, Morgan said, "I will go get him a throw up bag.
The things that come out of that girls mouth just leave me in awe - what an amazing little girl!
