Finally 4 years old!

Morgan is finally 4 years old, instead of 40 inches tall! Her feelings were always a bit hurt since she wasn't 4 yet, and she doesn't have much concept for time or numbers or days vs. weeks vs. years vs. inches. She would say things like she was going to be 4 years old in 1000 days. But until she could say she was 4 she just said she was 40 inches tall when asked how old she was.

Since we had celebrated her birthday a bit on mine, I wasn't sure what we were going to do. It was a busy couple of months and the thought of planning something else seemed tiresome. Since she was so excited about her birthday I decided to have a party down at the park. We just had snacks and cake and the party favors were kites! Curtis being the boy he is got the kites out at the party (not my intent) and the kids had a blast flying them! It was a perfect day and a awesome last minute party!
