And then there was rain!

We are experiencing the most severe draught since the 1950's and Lake Travis is so low that all but one boat ramp is closed. And even if you can get on the water (if your boat is docked) there are so many low points that it can be dangerous. The bonus for us is our sandy beach, however, we REALLY need the rain even if that means saying goodbye to the beach. We have been restricted to watering one day a week and can't remember the last time it rained - months. Until today!

Morgan said, "It rained-ed because I asked-ed God nicely so many times!" Then the girls really wanted to play out in the rain and Morgan said, "...but only if it is not Lightening McQueen, right Mom?"

(Lightening McQueen is the main character/car from the movie Cars that we watch like every day - or as Graydon says, "Ma-queem!")

The girls had a fun time singing and dancing (while Graydon sleepily watched)!

I love the 'singing in the rain' duet! Love you all and you can remember Sawyer's birthday as the first rain in a very long time! Love you all!
