Of course this is not to say that any of the given activities will happen throughout any given day, but will just provide a guideline for evening activities! We also established a list of daily activities, activities while Graydon is napping, and designated days for each kid to be a decision maker on inconsequential (as far as I am concerned) choices.
So tonight I read several of Schuyler’s choice books (she had to go to bed earlier), and she read to me as well. One of her choice books was How to Find Flower Fairies, a book given to the girls by our neighbor Ms. Carole. It is an enchanting, interactive, 3D pop-up book to make anyone believe in fairies! Not sure we ever sent a thank you note to Ms. Carole – sorry, and thank you, thank you!
Speaking of Ms. Carole….. I am so disappointed to say that she will be putting her house on the market and intends to movie closer to her family in Austin. We had many beloved neighbors in Rhode Island who were like family and made it hard to leave. Carole filled that void and is a very special lady who will be missed very much!
