Starbursts!

If we had a drive through convenience store, maybe we wouldn't need a drive through liquor store. After taking Graydon on errands around town, I am ready for a bit of libation! Of course running errands in the metropolis of Lago Vista isn't much. If you hit CVS, Movie Gallery, Super S, Ace Hardware, Dollar General and the Post Office, you have it covered. Our trips are frequently concluded at Sonic for an ice cream or slushy. (The day we took the girls to Austin Park and Pizza we had said we were going someplace special and their first guesses were Sonic! Low Standards). Anyway..... taking Graydon in and out of his car seat for a few minutes usually ends up in a crying and wrestling match. If you add the girls, then their are two cases of the greedy gimmies! I have to say, CVS is usually my first stop where included in my purchase is a pack of Starbursts. And apparently whoever designed the layout of CVS has not had to take a toddler there! I am lucky if I can get out without Graydon picking up some candy and opening one. That is when I reach for the Starburst! Who makes Starburst? I should by stock in that company! One Starburst gets Graydon in his chair and ready for the next store without the wrestling match! Starbursts are also good for changing diapers, another one of his favorite activities. I think he will be a wrestler when he grows up. Morgan has since changed what she wants to be when she grows up from an elephant to a "soda girl" - this was discovered as we were being served at Sonic! All this could be avoided if there was a drive through convenience store! We do indeed have a drive through liquor store - so at least you can get some alcohol without waking your kids up after a full day in Lago Vista! Just Kidding! No really, I am - I have only driven through once! Maybe I should attempt to put CVS out of business and open a drive through convenience store!

* The kids have been playing on the jumpy house a lot lately. Graydon has it all figured out even down the the safety reset button. He will hold the house until it is blown up and will say "I dit it!"

* We were talking about Curtis' Grandpa Frank Stauth tonight and what a wonderful and large man he was. Morgan asked, "was he as big as the wall?", "was he as big as a mountain?", and Schuyler said, "he must have been as big as a giant."

* The kids were watching Veggie Tales on the car tv (certainly not the first time) and Morgan said, "Mom there is some food talking on the tv! Oh my goodness!"

How special about Dad... Schuyler was right, he was a giant, and a big loving one at that... unless he got grouchy... Miss the parents for sure and wish the kids could have met him.

Love you all, Mom and Ron
