I thought it might be a night to get Schuyler excited about 1st grade, because she is not. When someone asked Morgan if she was excited she replied, “I am excited, but sissy is not!” That pretty much sums it up – however I am afraid that the first day of school will have the opposite feelings.
Since it was canceled they still posted the class lists on the school doors (don’t you think they could have emailed them?). Schuyler’s class is filled with most of her best girl friends (sorry Cassie and Cali), and her teacher Mrs. Holleyman seems really great! 3.5 days and counting!

Although you can't request a specific teacher you can provide input. I said that "I really would like Schuyler to be in a class where her creativity is really encouraged and where her academics are challenged in a positive and fun direction. I would also really like a teacher that is informative and encourages parent and sibling involvement." So while Schuyler is still not excited, I am!!!
