Fairy Blizzard.

Today Schuyler and Morgan dressed up like puppy dogs. That consisted of dressing all in brown, coloring their noses, taping paper ears on their ears, and using belts draped for tails. They crawled around barking (kind of annoying after awhile), and wanting to be pet (cute). Meanwhile, Graydon was straddling the kitchen banister saying "yee-haw". This is after he insisted drinking pickle juice. He took one sip and poured it into something else.

My friend Tammy compared cleaning to "shoveling during a blizzard" and it couldn't be a better analogy for me today (or any day). The kids have been playing very imaginative - mostly fairies by the sound of it. They set up a store, school, hotel, and homes in different rooms of our house (not the first time). So yesterday my house was clean, and today after the fairy blizzard hit(more like a tornado) - every room is a mess. I don't know how they can play with so much stuff in such a short amount of time. After the girls and Graydon helped me "clean cup" for like an hour, Morgan said "can we build couch houses?" I about had a brake down - oh wait..... I did! Then I thought about a day in the near future when they would only want to be in their rooms (not destroying every other room), and I felt better!
